I love nail polish. I am a beginner at nail art, so my designs should be pretty easy to duplicate, should you want to attempt them. :) Thanks for checking out my blog.

Pink and Black Tiger Stripes!
Hellooooo! Long time no post! Here is a pic of a manicure I did last night. The base is LA Colors Pink Diamonds. The stripers are all Art Deco by LA Colors. The bright pink is Rose, light pink is Baby Pink, and the black is Black Sparkles. I haven't been posting because I've been mostly plain old single-color manicures. Which I should still be posting. So yeah, I'm back. Suckaz.
Thanks for looking!

Zoya Anaka
This is two coats of Zoya Anaka. It has such a beautiful shimmer. I don't have much to say about it other than I really like it! I got it during the recent Zoya promo that offered two free polishes (shipping cost only). If you are a polish fan, you should sign up at zoya.com. Also, check out their blog here. They have amazing promos sometimes.

Orly Emberstone
This is two coats of Orly Emberstone from the Mineral FX collection. Some might want to use three coats, as I could see a leetle bit of nail line, but it didn't bother me. It is seriously awesome. I apologize for the chips and wear. I painted my nails and went straight to Weight Watchers, and somewhere between point A and point B, I got into a fight with a honey badger. It took what it wanted.
Here are some more pics. Check out the pink sparkles. UGH it is so pretty. Feel free to click to embiggen!
Thanks so much for looking!

What's Crackalackin'?
This is Orly Passion Fruit topped with OPI Silver Shatter. I like this combination! I have been so lazy about blogging lately. Sorry about that. Still lazy though, so here's more pictures, including Passion Fruit by itself. It's a great color.

Pink Jelly, Sparkly Tips
This is 3 coats of OPI Too Hot Pink to Hold'Em with OPI I Lily Love You on the tips. Those names are a whole lot of awful, aren't they? I love both of these polishes. It is inspired by a look I did for a (super-awesome bestie) friend with a base of China Glaze Purple Panic, and then I Lily Love You, and topped with THPtH'E.
Here's some more pictures!
Yeah, I messed it up, so what?! :)

Hello Kitty Tips
This is two coats of Avon Cotton Candy. The white tip is Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in White Out. Black: Orly Instant Artist in Jet Black. Yellow: Orly Instant Artist in Yellow Submarine. Red: Zoya Tamsen. All my other nails were a complete fail, so you only get this one. I didn't even bother with topcoat on my other nails, so I got the worst sheet marks all over them.

Purple Tiger
I love this manicure. The base is 2 (3? I forgot) coats of China Glaze Purple Panic (neon) and the stripe are Nail Art by Diamond Cosmetics in Purple Shimmer. I topped it with Seche Vite. The China Glaze polish is matte, as all true neon polishes are. It has a really cool glowy shimmer that might be pink. No sun today, boo. Anyway, Purple Panic is retina-searingly bright. Awesome. This manicure reminds me of Barbie clothes from the '80s or something.

Strawberry Fields
This is two coats of China Glaze Strawberry Fields. My intention was to do some sort of nail art with it, but I got lazy, so let's call this a swatch. This color is so pretty.

Sunny Stripes
This is Zoya Alegra (two or three coats, I can't remember!) with China Glaze Happy Go Lucky and China Glaze Life Preserver on the tips, topped with two coats of China Glaze Lighthouse. I don't hate it, but for future reference, Alegra is really too pretty to cover up. Lighthouse is really beautiful.
Here it is in the shade:
As always, you can click to enlarge. I won't be held responsible for Sparklpocalypse though.

Matte Black, Pink Tips
My friends, today I learned something. Crackle polish doesn't work over matte polish. This is Avon Black As Night which I received from a lovely friend in a land far away (three coats) with China Glaze Crackle Glaze in Broken Hearted on the tips (two coats, since the first coat barely showed up and didn't crackle anyway [but seriously, this crackle is usually awesome]). I'm getting WAY better at doing the tips. Hooray! I tried to put OPI Silver Shatter (which is amazing under other circumstances) on top of this, and it was not pretty, so I didn't bother taking a picture.
Here it is in the sun:

Purple Crackle!
This is Claire's Mood Polish in Calm/Wild topped with China Glaze Crackle Glaze in Faultline, no topcoat. A lot of people didn't care for the Faultline formula, but once I got the hang of it, I liked it. You have to do a quick, somewhat thick coat over completely dry polish. Most crackle topcoats fare better with a thin coat, but not this one. Here are a couple closeups of the nails on which I used a thicker coat:

Pink and Sparkly!
This is China Glaze It's Poppin' topped with Nubar Nail Jewels, which is a loose glitter. I can't find the color on Nubar's website, but it is a silver holographic glitter. I attempted to do an ombre or dip-dyed effect. I applied two coats of It's Poppin', and then I applied Orly Top 2 Bottom. I used a fan brush to tap the glitter onto my nails, and followed that up with a thick coat of Seche Vite. Please excuse the chipped area on my ring finger! The pink didn't chip, but the glitter did.
At night, indoors with flash:

SUPER-blurred! This was a mistake, but I'm posting it because you can see Zoya Areej on my toes:

Extreme closeup!!!
I really loved this manicure!
