Rainbow in a Bottle

This is one coat of China Glaze First Mate topped with two coats of Sally Hansen Nail Prisms in Burgundy Orchid. I couldn't stop staring at my nails. I LOVE this polish. This polish has been discontinued for years, but is still not too hard to find on the good ol' internet. I'll just give you another picture.

Nail Fail!!!

Allow me to explain: Sally Hansen Nail Prisms in Amber Ruby is gorgeous... just not over a bright red (Zoya Sooki, which is gorgeous by itself). You can see some of the awesome duochrome in this photo. In the future, I'll layer Amber Ruby over a black or very dark red.

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Purple Diamond

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms in Purple Diamond is an old, discontinued color. I recently unearthed my old stash of nail polish, and this was one of them! It is gorgeous. I couldn't stop staring at the rainbows. I think the holo effect is much more evident in real life. You can still find this on ebay, and it isn't horrifically expensive.
