Orly Rock Solid

This is two coats of Orly Rock Solid from the Mineral FX collection. The finish is so awesome! I love it. You can see a couple bald-ish spots on a some of my nails, but that's what happens when I paint them at night. As I've said several times. :)

Let's look at more pictures, shall we?

Beautiful! Thanks for looking! :)

Nfu Oh 62

Holy crap, these pictures do not do this polish justice. I actually gasped when I went out into the sun and saw the rainbows on my nails. This is 3-4 coats of Nfu Oh 62. Application was meh, probably because I didn't use Nfu Oh's special basecoat, as I did not want to spend the money. I used a matte Maybelline topcoat as basecoat instead.

Ok, more pictures. Click to embiggen, please!

Thanks for looking! This blogger has some photos of this polish that are a bit more accurate and spectacular:

Viva la Revvvolucion! aka Black Rainbows

This is Color Club Revvvolution. Holy crap, would you look at it? This is my first Color Club polish. I don't know how hard to find this polish is, but I got it on ebay for a pretty low price. This is two coats, topped with Seche Vite. Oh, and I shaped my nails a little bit. I think they look nice. I didn't bother with cleanup, sorry! I'll just go ahead and post a bunch of pictures now.

And one in the shade, in case you wanted to see it without all the rainbows, for some reason (it's still pretty awesome):

Thanks for looking! And I'm so excited to have 11 followers! And only four of them are people I know! Hi, followers! You make my day.

That's So Wizard

This manicure made me think of wizards. The base is three coats China Glaze Flying Dragon (Neon). On my pinkie, I added two coats of Kleancolor Holo Chrome. My ring finger and thumb feature OPI Silver Shatter. On my middle finger, I used Kleancolor Silver Star, which looks awesome, but takes a bit of work to get the stars how you want them.

Flying Dragon with no topcoat (looks shiny here, but actually dries to a matte/satin finish):

Pink and Sparkly!

This is China Glaze It's Poppin' topped with Nubar Nail Jewels, which is a loose glitter. I can't find the color on Nubar's website, but it is a silver holographic glitter. I attempted to do an ombre or dip-dyed effect. I applied two coats of It's Poppin', and then I applied Orly Top 2 Bottom. I used a fan brush to tap the glitter onto my nails, and followed that up with a thick coat of Seche Vite. Please excuse the chipped area on my ring finger! The pink didn't chip, but the glitter did.

At night, indoors with flash:

Slightly blurred to show off the holo effect:

SUPER-blurred! This was a mistake, but I'm posting it because you can see Zoya Areej on my toes:

This was a fun manicure, and pretty easy to do. Thanks for looking!

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Purple Diamond

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms in Purple Diamond is an old, discontinued color. I recently unearthed my old stash of nail polish, and this was one of them! It is gorgeous. I couldn't stop staring at the rainbows. I think the holo effect is much more evident in real life. You can still find this on ebay, and it isn't horrifically expensive. As always, you can click the pics to enlarge.
