I love owls.

Owls are one of my favorite animals. I have an owl tattoo on my arm. See?

So why not an owl tattoo on my nail? This is LA Colors Color Craze in Sea Siren (2 or 3 coats, can't remember) and the owl is from Big Ruby Nail Tattoos (the Tweet collection). I can't sing their praises enough. I LOVE these nail tattoos. So simple and so cute. I get LA Colors for $1.00 per bottle at Dollar Tree. Excellent deal.

Kitty!

I love Hello Kitty. So much so that I have a Hello Kitty tattoo. Here's a less permanent way to show your HK love. This is three coats of Nubar Belize Coral (which I received from a friend in an exchange), with the Modern Hello Kitty decals from Sephora. I did a crap job of applying them, as I used tweezers since my nails weren't dry, so they got bent on the corners. Boo! The decals are so cute anyway.

Silver with Peacock Feather

This is Orly Shine (3 coats, although 2 would suffice) with OPI Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous (badly) freehanded onto the tips. The decal is from Big Ruby Tattoos. The decals are insanely easy to apply, and so cute. I definitely recommend them.

Let's Go Kings!

I'm a huge L.A. Kings fan, and to support my team in the NHL Playoffs, I've done a Kings-inspired manicure. 

The products I used: Zoya Mira (2 coats), Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On (one stripe on each ring finger), and Orly Instant Artist in Jet Black (3 little stripes on each ring finger) and the crown decals are from the Fing'rs Edge Royal Punk Nail Art set. 

My hands aren't super-steady, but I think the stripes actually turned out better on my other hand:

Zoya Rica with A Little Birdie!

Here is Zoya Rica (2 coats with one coat of Out The Door topcoat) from Zoya's Sunshine Collection. I love it! It is a coral shimmer with gold sparkles. The bird is from Big Ruby Tattoos  Tweet Collection. It was so easy to apply! Unfortunately, I didn't center it very well. It's applied just like a temporary tattoo.

And right after I took my pictures, the sun came out. So I ran back outside and took one of Rica in all it's glory!
