It would be stranger if my nails didn't have mustaches on them.

The index finger is inspired by Scruffy from Futurama. Yellow: Two coats of China Glaze Happy Go Lucky. Orange: Two Coats of OPI Atomic Orange. Red: Two coats of China Glaze Hey Sailor. Black: Orly Instant Artist in Jet Black. I loved the colors so much I almost didn't want to put mustaches on them (!!!). My thumbs had combo mustache/beards, but they didn't turn out so well. My right thumb was a curly handlebar and a chinstrap (strange combination). My left was an evil-looking pointy goatee.

Zoya Yara

I love it so much! This is two coats of Zoya Yara. It is the one I was most excited about from Zoya's Fall 2011 collection, and it did not disappoint.

Peacock Feather Rhinestones

This is two coats of OPI Jade is the New Black. On my ring finger, I used a whole bunch of different rhinestones (I got these ones from Born Pretty Store) to make a design inspired by the eye of a peacock feather. Application tips: I put some clear topcoat (not quick drying) over the color and used an orangewood stick to pick up the stones and place them. I made sure to use a new stick, because I licked the end of it to pick up the rhinestones. Just how I roll.  It looks a lot better from far away, but I can give you a couple closeups, since you're on the nice list this year.

Zoya Kimmy

 This is two coats of Zoya Kimmy. It is such a fantastic color. SO sparkly. Also, Seche Vite doesn't work well with Zoya polishes, so I tried Revlon's quick dry topcoat. And it is fabulous! No shrinkage. It takes a little bit longer to dry than Seche Vite, but not by much. So hey, more pics!

Same manicure from the last post, but I added two coats of Nubar 2010! I also applied two coats of Essie Matte About you, and you'll see that in some of the pictures below! Spoiler alert: It's awesome.

Wicked Sweet

This is two (three? I need to write this stuff down) coats of Color Club Wicked Sweet. It's scented. It smells...sweet! I layered something over this, which I will post in the next couple days, but this color was so pretty it deserved its own post. It GLOWS. The shimmer is seriously fantastic.

Bright Leopard Print

For my son's 8th birthday, we had a wild animal show. So why not leopard print nails? My first time trying leopard print, and well... I need some practice. The base is 2 coats of China Glaze Recycle. The dots are all China Glaze Neons: Flying Dragon, Flip Flop Fantasy, Japanese Koi, Four Leaf Clover. The black is Orly Instant Artist in Jet Black. You can see on my pinkie and my ring finger, it started off kind of promising. But it is dark in my house, so I can't see very well if I do my nails at night. Also, I got lazy and tired. It was a cute idea, anyway. :)

Wink, Wink, Twinkle

This is Color Club's Wink, Wink, Twinkle from the Starry Temptress collection (two coats) topped with one coat of the Starry Temptress glitter topcoat. Removal was nightmarish, but it was so pretty that I didn't care as much as I usually do!

Get Your Lem-On

This is Get Your Lem-On from Color Club. It is a bit sheer, even after 3 coats. Next time, I will layer over a white. But it is SCENTED. It smells like lemon! The color is pretty.  Very bright yellow with a green shimmer. Sorry so boring.
