I Love Goooooold!

Hi hi! This is two coats of Julep Sienna topped with two coats of Nyx Girls Gilded Glitter. I love Gilded Glitter. The glitter pieces are all irregularly shaped. It's awesome. Since I'm just wading back into the blogging world, my pictures are going to be unstaged cellphone pics for now. Hence back seat of car, visible foot.

Anyway, Julep is one of the best polish brands I've tried. It is expensive, but the Maven program is affordable and fun. I had to cancel when I moved, because the rent is too damn high! But that's another great thing about Maven. It was so easy to cancel.

Pink and Black Tiger Stripes!

Hellooooo! Long time no post! Here is a pic of a manicure I did last night. The base is LA Colors Pink Diamonds. The stripers are all Art Deco by LA Colors. The bright pink is Rose, light pink is Baby Pink, and the black is Black Sparkles. I haven't been posting because I've been mostly plain old single-color manicures. Which I should still be posting. So yeah, I'm back. Suckaz.

Zoya Anaka

This is two coats of Zoya Anaka. It has such a beautiful shimmer. I don't have much to say about it other than I really like it! I got it during the recent Zoya promo that offered two free polishes (shipping cost only). If you are a polish fan, you should sign up at Also, check out their blog here. They have amazing promos sometimes.

Grassy Green with Gold Flakes

Hi hi! This is two coats of Julep Leah (which is a fantastic shimmery grass green) topped with one coat of Essie As Gold As It Gets. I am amazed at the quality of Julep's polishes. They are pricey (unless you are a Julep Maven, like me), but the quality is really great. The color is a bit brighter in real life. I love this gold flake topcoat from Essie's LuxEffects collection. I am excited to try it over other colors. This manicure reminded me of some sort of Asian pottery. Jade with gold leaf or something.

Flakie Madness!

Holy crap, it's me! :-O I know, I've been away for so long. I feel like kind of a jerk. Anyways, here's one coat of Milani One Coat Glitter in Silver Dazzle topped with one coat of Finger Paints Special Effects in Twisted. Oooooh, pretty! Click to enlarge if you want!

Fall Glitter Tips

This is two coats of Julep Stella topped with China Glaze CG in the City. I attempted a gradient effect with the glitter polish. I really liked this glitter. Removal was not as bad as it could have been (still glitter polish removal, though!). Looks like sparkly sand. I don't love this yellow color with this manicure. I do like it, but I feel that the glitter tips would have looked fabulous with a darker base polish. Maybe a dark, smoky purple shade. Or even black. To get a better look at the colors in the glitter, click to enlarge!

Orly Fowl Play

This is two coats of Orly Fowl Play. If you buy just one Fall collection polish this year, make it this one. LOOK AT IT. I gouged my index finger shortly after painting, so sorry about that. If I hadn't, I would have left this polish on for the rest of my life, maybe. Look at the pictures, then go buy it.
